Obafemi Martins scored a stunning goal as he inspired Newcastle to come from behind and win impressively at Spurs.

New Pemiership Star: Victor Anichebe


A new Nigerian star has emerged at Everton. His name is Victor Anichebe. Teenager Victor Anichebe scored twice to help Everton to victory over Newcastle at Goodison Park.
The 18-year-old Nigerian scored his first league goal early in the game when he slotted in from six yards.

Kanu Will Remain at Pompey


Kanu has been linked with a move to Ajax but boss Harry Rednap says he will stay and honour his contract at Portsmouth. Kanu joined Arsenal in 1998 from Inter Milan for 4.5 million pounds.
